Another freak. Where do these guys come from?

Yes, this is another freak nominated by the nations most popular president.

Neglected when they were young and left to ascertain their opinions without direction?  Possibly.  Is Washington where all the nut jobs conglomerate?  Probable.  Left without opposition in the scholastic field to let their crazy thoughts to flourish.  Most certainly.

I was talking this issue over with the wife.  After being somewhat stupefied over the ridiculousness of some people and their opinions, we came to the realization that people just need to focus on what is most important in this nation... FAMILY.  NOT ANIMALS.  Yes, teach your children how to respect animals, how to raise them, how to take care of them.  But whoa!  Not give them rights to sue!  Holy crapola people!  Why give the attorney's one more reason to salivate?!?

President Obama has nominated..."legal scholar Cass Sunstein to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs at the Office of Budget and Management.  Sunstein has argued in favor of outlawing sport hunting and meat-eating, and written that animals should be allowed to file lawsuits "with human beings as their representatives."

There is the "animal rights", then there is "animal FREAK"!

Yeah, Obama is talking and being "Stupidly" agian!

For those of you that voted in the idiot, thanks a lot.  I don't take the word Stupid lightly...but now, there is a true need for its use.
Obama argues system dictates health care choices

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama suggested Wednesday that under the current health care system, doctors make medical decisions based on what they would be paid for a procedure rather than the best treatment.

In trying to rally support for health care overhaul, Obama described a patient who sees a physician for a sore throat, or a parent who brings in a child with a sore throat.

"Right now, doctors a lot of times are forced to make decisions based on the fee payment schedule that's out there. ... The doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, 'You know what? I make a lot more money if I take this kid's tonsils out,'" Obama told a prime-time news conference.

The president added: "Now, that may be the right thing to do, but I'd rather have that doctor making those decisions just based on whether you really need your kid's tonsils out or whether it might make more sense just to change — maybe they have allergies. Maybe they have something else that would make a difference."

AAO-HNS Responds to President Obama's Comments Regarding Tonsillectomy In response to President Barack Obama’s statements regarding tonsillectomy during a news conference on healthcare reform, the Academy issued the following response to the media and federal lawmakers:

“We, too, are in favor of evidence-based medicine that supports quality patient care. President Obama’s statement highlights the complexity of medical decisions like this. However, the AAO-HNS is disappointed by the President's portrayal of the decision making processes by the physicians who perform these surgeries. In many cases, tonsillectomy may be a more effective treatment, and less costly, than prolonged or repeated treatments for an infected throat.

“For the past several years, the Academy has been developing clinical guidelines based on evidence and outcomes research, including “Quality of Life after Tonsillectomy,” a January 2008 supplement to the journal Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. We are in agreement with the President’s statement that physicians, patients, and hospitals should make the decisions, based on the evidence, about what’s best for patient care.”

Trying to infer that doctors only have their pocketbooks in mind when coming to health care is like saying that all cops just like bullying people around.  It is true that doctors have to take care of #1 because there is NO ONE out there who is willing to do it for them.  And yes, despite what a huge amount of people out there think, it is not right to take advantage of doctors desire to help others.  Health care is not a right.  It is a buisness.  Just like I have to take in my car if it breaks down.  Should that be a right?  Well now, I should then propose a bill that we all get free car tune ups and comprehensive coverage if my car gets a little rusty or the engine fails from a lack of care.  Can Obama do that for me?  Yes he can!

Is it any wonder why D.C. is so messed up?

Anyone heard of Marion Barry? How about previous mayor of Washington D.C.? So, the people usually pick those whom they think will represent their wished in office, and get done what's needed for the city, right? This guy was elected by the people not once, not twice, but FOUR times! Unbelieveable! Reason it's so unbeleiveable is because in 1990 he was caught in an FBI sting operation where he was smoking. Yeah, smoking CRACK! Here's the article blurb...
"Barry served four terms as mayor. In his third, he was videotaped in 1990 in a hotel room smoking crack cocaine in an FBI sting. He served six months in prison and in 1994 regained the mayor's office."
And you read it right, he regained the mayor's office AGAIN! Now, he was escorted to jail for a few words with the laddies after getting caught stalking a woman. We all know there are a ton of political scandals out there, especially involving affairs with other women, pages, or boys (puke!), sorry, I'm back now. But, all of them have resigned or stepped down after the public knowledge of their deeds has been broadcast to the world. Not Marion Barry though. Smoking crack must be no big deal in D.C.
I say we move the capital to Texas. Our governing officials need to be surrounded by some solid morally sound people. Poeple like Tom Delay, J.W. lown, won't dare step back into Texas after their news broke. Maybe if we kept B.O. and crew in Texas, they won't think it's okay to go on lavish trips, pass exorbitant bills that no one knows how to pay for, and think all this is morally okay. I'll tell you what, it's easier to do whats right when your surrounded by a bunch of constitutionally smart people with guns which they know how to use.

How in the world does this happen?

When dealing with humans, you are exposing yourself to their error.  I have no idea how the heck a surgical tech was allowed to administer fentanyl!  An anesthesiologist or nurse are the only ones allowed by our hospital standards.  Beware, there are some nasty people out there.

Surgical Technician May Have Exposed Patients to Hepatitis C Virus

A former surgical technician may have exposed patients at a Denver medical center and a Colorado Springs ambulatory surgery center to hepatitis C virus (HCV) when she allegedly replaced their fentanyl injections with injections using syringes filled with saline, states a July 3, 2009, articleposted on CNN's Web site. The technician, who believes that she contracted HCV through using heroin and sharing needles while she lived in New Jersey in 2008, admitted to secretly injecting herself with the fentanyl in the facility's bathrooms and then returning the unsterilized syringes, filled with saline, to be used on patients. According to the article, an investigation is pending and the medical center is notifying the 4,700 patients who had surgery during the technician's employment from October 2008 to April 2009 of their chance of exposure. The ambulatory surgery center is reportedly also contacting patients.

Michael Jackson: Another celeb fouled by fortune and fame?

Such talent!  So unique.  A pop culture revolutionary icon.   May he rest in peace.  The poor man suffered the life of more fame than the president of the United States.  He has been put in the spotlight and held to a standard only to be ridiculed time and time again.   I remember when I was a kid going to Disney World and seeing him perform in the 3D theatre.  It was my mothers favorite show during our visit.  She had to watch the show at least 3 times.
Although he was so incredibly gifted, his decisions in this life were less than optimal.  In my own personal view, he is like so many of the NFL, or NBA, or NHL sports stars.  Moral judgements and common sense so often fly off into the wind.
May this be a lesson to all those who eventually creep into the realm of fame.  Surround yourself with good people, the gospel, and an eye single to the glory of God.  Rarely with that mentality do people make such grave mistakes.
And finally, DON'T DO DRUGS!!!!  Especially Alcohol and Propofol!
